ndrea Le is an aspiring LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted by her victory at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee was a winner on all levels. She won nine times during her collegiate days in the ranks of Standford University. She also had 17 straight weeks at the top of the Women's Amateur World rankings. She won the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019 as the highest-ranked women's amateur at the end season. The following year, she made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native who was born in the month of August, 1998. James began teaching his daughter golf from the age of five. As a young girl, she began to compete in tournaments, and within four years she earned 50 junior titles. In 2014, the US Women's Open was her first tournament cut. aged 15 with her dad playing as her caddie. She missed out on making cut at the LPGA Tour cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration by just one shot. Lee played for the USA at the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. As the first female pupil to enroll at Stanford University, Lee was the most decorated in Stanford's past. Through the three years that followed she had won 9 different championships. Lee quit Stanford University to turn pro in 2019. Her amateur seasons included 17 consecutive weeks in the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received an award called the Mark H. McCormack award in the season of 2019 after being the number one amateur. Lee was a hole-in-one four times and one albatross as an amateur. The first time she played, she had two top-10 places. She came in seventh at the AIG Women's Open 2020, which was held on Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was able to make an LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022.
